This camera takes really good clear still photos, mostly in daylight conditions. Under darker conditions or faster action (especially with a zoom lens) not so much.I took some pictures of the curtain call of a musical when I was in row 2. Both my photos turned out blurry.I think my camera would be better to take pictures. Also, the macro lens on this camera is not worth using.Best macro lens in front of the old Sony camera, DSC - S75 is a line..
